Honestly I'm not one who enjoys giving a bad review just for the sake of it but sadly I can't say too many positive things about the Riverside. Firstly, service was well below par. I sat for quite some time before having to get up and go to the bar to place an order. I am well capable of doing so but it defeats the purpose of having serving staff (of which there were two of) if they're not going to take your order. Then once I got to the bar I was literally ignored for about 7 or 8 minutes while the entire staff chatted approximately ten feet away looking at me as if I was a nuisance for wanting to place an order. Then finding a table that looked like it had been cleaned in this decade was a challenge to say the least. I know it sounds like nitpicking but if you're trying to entice people into coming into your establishment, correcting some of these things might be looked into - as well as maybe learn when to cut some people off. There were two individuals in there that were well past the point of the night being called for them. I get it - it's a bar and people are there to drink and enjoy themselves, but screaming at the top of their lungs and falling out of their chairs and noting being said or done is not pleasing for your other patrons.
