I love the concept and the soup is so good. I love that they open till pretty late. It’s a big plus. Especially for Winnipeg which is hard to find a late night Asian food that’s worth it. However I wish the service was better. All the employees are very uninterested and just like someone else said there’s not a single smile to be found by workers. Maybe they are not paid well I’m not too sure. Also I don’t know why I have to ask for water at the counter by bothering the workers. If I have to bring my bowl from the counter when they bring it out, I’d like to also have a self serve water station. I hate bothering the uninterested workers for water. I’m regular here so yeah. But overall it’s not bad. I like the concept cuz I can mostly pick protein and just little amount of noodles after my gym session and it’s a tasty way to have meat and seafood with yummy soup. As long as you don’t go crazy with portion and select whole bunch of stuff, the price is pretty reasonable. I will continue to support this business as I enjoy it. Just hope there is an improvement in the...

I went here on a date night with the girlfriend. You walk in and it’s a self serve experience. You pick out the toppings you want on your bowl and the price varies on the weight of your bowl. Interaction with staff is limited but I find that the experience here was smooth and straightforward. You can also make your own sauce. I’m not much of a soup guy. I only crave it during cold winter months or if I’m sick, but my girlfriend and I went here on a moody, rainy summer day so it wasn’t too bad. My girlfriend mentioned that the last time she went there with her girl friends that the staff gave them complimentary ice cream and I was anticipating getting one too. We didn’t get any ice cream and I think that would’ve been a wow factor for me. Soup was nice and hot, and taste wise, it was good. I’m more of a pho person but this was a nice replacement. Ambient was relatively clean, light chatter and music in the background. Overall, a...

If you like to cook your hot pot this would not be the restaurant to go to. You basically pick your ingredients and place in a large bowl and then they weigh it to calculate the price. Quite expensive for what you get and you don’t really know the portion size that you get at the end. Then they grab your bowl and cook it in the back with one type of broth. No choice to choose which one. And it was over cooked when it came out. I definitely missed my Tom yum broth. The broth was kinda bland for my liking but probably would pass for taste. No sauces other than chilli oil. I missed all the condiments from other hot pot places. And finally maybe Google translate will help because the worker could not understand English. We used a lot of sign language to figure out how to get...

My girlfriend wanted hotpot so badly at 10 pm and we couldn’t find anything open until I found this restaurant on google search. We were not expecting anything when we got there. We thought it was your usual hotpot where they bring you a whole pot and you cook it yourself but in there, you can choose your meat, noodles and veggies and they cook it for you. The guy in the counter was so nice. I told him it was our first time and asked where we found the restaurant. There was no one there when we got there which I thought was weird because it was so good. I wish people would recognize this restaurant more. It felt so authentic and we would love to come back again. I think we found our favourite hotpot spot.

Pretty decent hotpot. If you don't want to 30+$$$ for all you can eat hot pot as you don't have a big appetite. I would say this is the place for you. Grab your own bowl, choose your own toppings, noodles, broth flavor and spicy level. Then bring it to the counter and they will grab your bowl and cook it for you And the cost will depend on how heavy your bowl is. My bowl costs me around 15$ after tax as in the picture. The soup is flavorful. The only downside is there is only one lady working in the kitchen, thus you may have to wait for 20+ minutes for your food to get ready. Also the staffs don't really speak English well Overall, I would still come back again
