Boston Pizza — Restaurant in Yarmouth

Update 4/7/2024 We used to frequent this establishment frequently. However, since my first review, the willingness to go back has faded from being one of our favourites, to no longer willing to reward their establishment with the 2 to 3 times per week we were visiting them.

They went from serving good food to serving rotten green peppers in their nacho’s, ice cold spaghetti (and proceeded to have attitude because it was sent back), to serving only a portion of the table at a time leaving others at the table watch them eat while they wait for their food, to the last time and the one that put the nail in the coffin so to speak, the waiter who placed singing a birthday song to a table not in his section over giving us silverware and small plates to share our appetizer and when we asked for them, he bluntly left and ran and cried to the manager and never returned. Once again only a portion of our food was brought while others had to sit and watch them eat by the manager on duty. Never once were we asked how our food was, if we wanted another drink, and left to sit and wait for our bill to get the hell out of there for over 20 minutes until we asked the hostess to bring it, for which we rewarded the staff with a zero tip.

It would do them well to remember, the public pays their wages and tips are not a must, they are given in an appreciation of good service. Something this establishment forgot how to do!

My family and I come here often to eat. The food is typically very good, and if something isn’t right, they are very quick to rectify the problem.

The wait staff for the most part is very attentive, but it can get slow and they do sometimes forget or are very slow to bring second rounds of drinks.

The atmosphere offers both family dining, and bar to suit what each person may want. I always sit in the family section and my one big complaint is that often times the building is too cold. Often the temp app on my phone registers the room temp between 67 and 70 degrees. However, now that fall is in the air, I’m sure they will turn the heat on or at least turn their fans off.

I frequently dine at this location and rarely, if ever had a bad experience. The food is always top quality and served fast and fresh, staff are friendly and attentive, making frequent stops to check in with customers, all while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

But what sets this location apart from the rest, is the exceptional customer service provided by management. I've had the pleasure to be served by Camryn on multiple occasions, and am constantly astounded with her service. Always friendly, personable, and professional, she goes above and beyond to help deliver a perfect experience.

Recently due to a change in plans the rest of our party was unable to make it to the restaurant in time to order before the kitchen closed, Camryn took our order and went out of her way to deliver the pizzas to our house after her shift had ended and orders were no longer being taken, an example of her going the extra mile for a customer that I have yet to experience from any other. She is an exceptional example of what a manager should be, and makes coming back an easy decision.
