KFC — Restaurant in Yellowknife

Once again, the online order with KFC in Yellowknife has let me down. I arrived just after the 15 minute minimum time and inquired about my meal. I had ordered the Boneless Meal For One which was listed as a deal for this week. Here it is:

1x BONELESS MEAL FOR ONE $9.99 1x Spicy Famous Chicken Chicken Sandwich 1x 2 Original Recipe Tenders 1x Individual Popcorn 1x Individual Fries 1x SWEET N SMOKEY BBQ

The first person I inquired with disappeared and never returned to the counter. Another person asked if I needed help so we went through the process again. My order was obviously on their system as they were asking me questions and I was giving satisfactory answers. That person also then disappeared and never returned. A third person tried and we repeated the process again. He left to get my meal and returned with everything except the sandwich but gave me a cup for a drink. I asked for my sandwich. He told me it doesn't come with a sandwich and I assured him it did. He said show me so I did. He shrugged and left to get my sandwich. When he returned I asked if it was spicy (that's what I ordered). He said no. I said never mind, grabbed my food and walked out.

KFC Yellowknife needs to train their people properly. None of the ones I talked to were even aware that this was a KFC Deal so the really couldn't fulfill my order correctly. Perhaps their online ordering system is still lacking...

This is the best KFC I have had in over a decade. We eat kfc about once or twice a month and have slowly gotten used to the declining quality but eating at this kfc it was like the old kfc we used to love. The chicken wasn't super greasy and tasted like it used to. The gravy was amazing. We haven't had good kfc gravy in years so we stopped buying the medium and large size and now only buy the small gravy. I wish we had purchased a large this time, we didn't have enough because it was sooo good. I don't know how they make everything so much better than every other kfc we've ever been to but they should get a gold star for the best KFC in Canada. The food is horrible, does not taste like KFC is supposed to, like they forgot to send this store the secret herbs and spices. It's just deep fried fatty chicken with no flavor. Second attempt their website says they're open so we order online, and pay, only to go to the store to find out they are not open. This store needs to be shut down, poor service, disgusting flavorless fatty greasy food, and corporate has no idea what they're doing st the store level so they allow online orders despite the store being closed.
