Sushi North Inc — Restaurant in Yellowknife

Pick up order, first (now last time). Ordered 2x Yam roll, 1x Avacado roll, and 2x Nagiri. I could only get one Yam roll? Rolls loosly prepared showing lack of caring. A 2 piece Nagiri is a single Nagiri (size difference) cut in two.

Shrinkflation clearly present.

If you drive, you need to park. Lucky for me that after I paid, the counter person did not fetch my order until I asked her. I said, "is my order ready"? ( as estimated by the website order). "No" she says. I said, I am paying for parking... She checks and hands me my order.

Shrinkflation + lack of effort + lack of service = 1 . Do not contact me. You do not and will not get a second chance.

I love Japanese food. But this is disappointing. The Udon was a tad warm, almost cold and a soggy tempura. The salmon sushi was freezer cold. We let it sit for a while to "cool down" right on our eyes it's thawing. It was a good slice and color though. They were so busy with pick up orders. Understanding that it is being offered, I thought the dine in option suffers. We waited 40mins for our order to arrive. We ordered an Udon, Aurora plate, avocado&salmon roll and dynamite roll. There were only a total of 7 customers including us. Unfortunately, not coming back and hardly to recommend.

This is a restaurant of semi-cafeteria style. You order and pay for your food and when the food is ready, you pick it up for yourself - I don't mind picking up the tray with my food. You get your own tea if you want it. From that perspective, there's not much of a service to speak of. Basic interaction skill and civility suffice. The food didn't have much taste and the quantity in each order was very small. I had three orders (total of $50) and they didn't fill me (I'm not...
