KFC — Restaurant in Yorkton

Not sure what happened to KFC? Not sure if this is all locations, or just Yorkton, or just a bad day, but the chicken was literally dripping with oil, the fries were fortunately cooked, but extremely light in colour, and no taste. The super thick, yummy gravy that I remember as a kid, has been replaced with a slightly thicker than water, tasteless brown liquid, and even my daughter said about the tasteless cole slaw, "how do you screw up cole slaw?" It will be a long time before I return to this restaurant...

Update 20231208 - tried it again, after years. I must admit, their staff really went above and beyond. I found a special price on their Web site, and they did honour it. The "new" fries were ok, lacking in salt and flavour. The gravy was better than my original review. The chicken was ok, but had enough salt for both the chicken, and the fries put together, but alas, you still needed a towel to deal with the amount of grease that it was swimming in.

I didn't hate it, but I can't say it was a spectacular experience that would make me put them at the top of my list when looking for a place to...

We stopped by at this KFC for quick bite after driving for 9 hours, and an hour before they close which is 11pm. The worker was already cleaning and had the chairs on the table. My husband asked if they are still open, and yes they are. I can tell that same lady is not very happy that we are there. Sighing and i can tell she was annoyed while taking our orders and was very impolite. We were all so tired and hungry so i really dont have the energy to be bothered. The chicken was fresh, crispy, and tasty. The reason why i gave stars. But when we used the washroom, it was like a sauna or boiler in there. I thought maybe it was just the ladies washroom but when my son used the mens washroom it was the same thing. I guess she had the heat blasted to shoo as away? Just very mean. I ordered a bucket there once and they said to go park and wait for it,I parked and waited,after awhile I went inside to inquire,the staff figured they gave it to the wrong car,I asked for a refund and got an argument instead ,the staff wanted me to wait for another bucket of chicken,at this time I had been there approx 40 minutes and wanted to leave,after 5-10 minutes of arguing I got my money back.I had to sign a receipt and figured this was why they didn't want to give me a refund because they may be asked to explain what happened.I buy chicken when passing through Fort Qu'appelle now as this is one of the nicest KFC's I...
