Esplanada Morabeza — Restaurant in Platô

Me and my girlfriend have been 3 days in Praia. After the first time we ate all the dinners here because the place is nice and easy to reach walking since it’s in a nice area.

Obviously we kept coming because of the food. We tried a lot of different things on the menus and we loved everything. The most famous dish here is the Pastelao. Very big and tasty and at the same time cheap.

The only thing is that they time some time to bring you food. My theory is that all the restaurants here probably follow the “no stress” motto since more or less all the restaurants in CV are a bit slow. But at the same time if you see this restaurant, the kitchen is very small. Therefore I suspect that the size of the kitchen plays a bit role in they...

Very good food. Well done and tastes good. Not sure if they are actually serving olive oil for the salad though. Other then that it was very good. Ambiance is great. Perfectly placed in the park with an open space to dine while still having privacy as people walking by can't fully see inside due to the tinted glass dividers. Very satisfied. Great Burger ⭐~I won't mention the reason why service to my table was sub-par but since I'm determined to ignore slightly rude behavior based on appearances... The food, view & conversation with an elderly fellow patron were all excellent.

They could do more to keep the school aged, well groomed, smart mouthed youngsters from endlessly pestering/begging people...
