Alkimist — Restaurant in Quebra Canela

Absolutely terrible experience avoid this place. We waited over 30 minutes just to place an order. Four different waitresses saw us, waved at us, and still ignored us completely, while happily serving everyone else around us. It felt like we were invisible or worse, intentionally ignored.

Then, before we even got our food, they brought us the bill and forced each person to pay separately. Who does that? Totally unprofessional.

When the pizza finally came, it was a joke – tasteless, cheap ingredients, and honestly worse than frozen supermarket pizza. After such a long wait, this was just insulting.

The atmosphere is depressing, and the whole place feels chaotic and unfriendly. If you want good service, good food, or just a nice evening in Praia stay far away...

We were a couple, I've waited 40 min for the Marisco rice, my partner never got his pizza. It arrived after 1 hour and 40 min. The owner immensely apologized after I've pretend them.

But the waiter was awful ignoring us, not offering nothing for the time waiting or informing that they actually forgot my boyfriends pizza. I'm giving 2 stars just for the drinks, which were great but again we waited too much for them. I'm Italian and capeverdean but my patience is not infinite We will be here 10 days but...

Across the street from Kebra Kanela beach, you don't have the view but they have a big outdoor seating area that you can feel the breeze of the beach. It was a good choice and the waitresses was nice and polite. Everything tasted good but it takes a little long for the food to come. But I guess it's common everywhere you go.
