Roma - Ristopizza — Restaurant in Quebra Canela

Been here a couple of times, this review reflects that given the different meals. The food is hit or miss, it’s either really good or extremely mid. Carbonara looked somewhat authentic from the description but tasted sweet as if there was some cinnamon or some spice of some sort in there, so wouldn’t recommend - 4.5/10. The burger was really delicious, comes with fries/onion rings and was probably one of my favourite burgers I’ve had - 8.5/10. (Does come with seeded cucumbers but seems that’s the only variety of cucumber on the island). The tuna pasta was another miss, all the milk/cream I’ve encountered is the UHT kind and you can taste it in any dishes like this if you’re used to drinking fresh milk so personally I’d rate this dish a 2/10 but if you don’t notice any distinction then you might enjoy this dish. The pizza here has been really good, maybe the best of the island though I don’t have much experience eating from other places but the pizza I’d be happy if I was served it in a place like London too, especially the chourico one - 8.5/10. I ordered a pizza to go on a Monday night at 1930. The place is half empty.

The pizza took an hour, and when it finally arrived, it was ice cold. They clearly forgot to bring it out. When the pizza finally came out, the waiter said nothing, just dropped it off and hoped I would say nothing while walking away.

I came to the station and they apologized and took the pizza back. I asked for my money back, and they resisted, saying it was complicated and wanted me to take a cold pizza home at full price. The waiter was sheepish.

They took the pizza away and I then asked for my money back. He said it's complicated because you already have pizza. I said then where is it? After I asked again for my money, not the pizza, he reluctantly called a manager and gave me my money.

Stuff happens, but it was outright rude to be given a cold pizza with no acknowledgement, no sorry, no explanation.

Nice and cozy place. But I went there with my family and kids, and some old man was shouting at my daughter, just because she was playing around with my niece.And the owner assisted what his friend said to us and he did nothing. This old man, shouted at my daughter, at my niece and did worse shouting at me when i came out of the toilet. So because of the owner didn't do anything at this kind of situation, for me this place deserves a bad review. You shouldn't let your friends or whatever the relationship you have with this person, to treat your clients this way. So i did like it at all, and that was bad and...
