My family and I wanted to try this restaurant based on really good reviews but sadly we were quite dissatisfied.
I had the chicken Cordon Bleu and my husband had the burger. Traditionally, chicken Cordon Bleu should have cheese and ham on the inside, but this dish had neither. On top of this it was quite dry. On sending it back I received a new one only to find that it seemed to be quite the same dish only with an enormous amount of cheese added and splotches of ham placed randomly inside. The dish also seemed to have been made with ground chicken instead of a whole chicken breast. Now, I know this is a steakhouse so perhaps I’d suggest taking this dish off the menu if it can’t be done the way it should?
My husband had the wagu burger (medium) and what he had received was a charred outside with barely cooked meat inside. It all crumbled in his first bite and the burger completely fell apart. Absolutely not worth 30+ dollars.
Our kids had the tenders and fries and I will say that although our dishes weren’t good theirs was excellent. Great chicken tenders.
I was really wanting to send a great review to go along with the others but sadly our experience was quite...
Read moreTook my wife here for our final island dinner. I have to say this was the best meal we had while on Grand Cayman. We arrived around 2pm, but ordered dinner. My wife had the 12oz Ribeye and I had the Chicken Cordon Bleu. The food was fantastic! Very flavorful and hot. My wife said even I would have liked the French Onion soup and I don't like onions. The service was great and we were one of two couples there in a Irish bar atmosphere. They do have a mandatory 15% tip, which I had no problem with, since it was great; however, I would like to point out that forcing someone to pay a certain tip may actually sour them to giving any more than that and hurt the server's bottom line. The only issues we had was they charged almost $18 for a side Caesar salad, which is way too much and the pictures of the menus on Google has the prices lower than they actually are, but again, the food was great. I highly...
Read moreWe visited for the first time last night. They were extremely accommodating with food allergies however the cuts of meat were not what we expected. Spinach, mac and cheese and fingerling potatoes were exceptional. The olives in the santorini salad were amazing.
However the main reason we dined here was for the steaks. The steaks were subpar, chewy and extremely difficult to cut with our steak knives. My husband ordered grass fed ribeye; I ordered grass fed tenderloin. Mine was slightly overcooked (I ordered medium rare). My husband’s cut was medium and was redder than mine. We did not tell the staff as we were dining with 2 others who didn’t order steak and enjoyed their meals (burger...
