Puras Pavadas — Restaurant in Pucón

AMAZING. we’ve only ever eaten airport or random bus stop empanadas (so I guess it’s not hard to beat) but these ones are quite different! They’re the crunchiest, hottest, and oiliest empanadas we’ve EVER laid our hands on and will forever be our No. 1 empanadas experience. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a photo because as soon as you bite in, all of the juices come pouring out and those extra napkins they hand you are A MUST. We didn’t receive a plate and merely used the the to-go bag, which was rough when trying to use all the condiments on their outdoor seating area. A must visit when in Pucon. I ordered the Neapolitan empanada and the orange-banana juice. The empanada was delicious especially with their house hot sauce. Tough to give it a genuine score. Delicious empanadas and some unique flavours - the cheese and quince one in particular was outstanding.
