Lavenjea was the Manager on duty! On Saturday, October 31st my family and I arrived at Chili’s Willowbrook Location in Houston, Tx. There was no host upfront. I waited patiently for about 10 mins before asking a waiter. The waiter said there was no host and he would go and get the manager to help me. We had a party of 13 (6 adults 7 children) and was quoted 1 hour and 45 minutes wait by the manager ,Lavenjea. I have photos of the entire restaurant, no one was there ! She never explained why the wait would be so long. I had to look around and ask questions to the other customers myself to come to this conclusion. I truly felt the over quote was a Deterrent being that they were short staffed. There was a large party before us, but the plan for that party was on the opposite side of the restaurant (according to the hostess who later arrived) I inquired about the open seating on the opposite side of the restaurant and they said we couldn’t be seated there due to social distancing. There were 5 open tables right next to each other. About 45 minutes later we were told we would be sat at the exact tables that had been sitting there. I asked the server to ask the manager ,Lavenjea, if we could be compensated for our time being that those tables had been open the entire time , those were the same tables I inquired about, and we had hungry children waiting 45 minutes for no reason at all. The manager Lavenjea, came upfront , very rude, very indirect, and loudly responded to the waiter by saying “no , I told her 1 hour 45 minutes and she’s being seated in only 45 minutes”. She never addressed me as the customer directly. Now we are escorted to our table by our server Daniel , who did a very great job by the way, and tables were not put together . The entire area was Empty but the manager had him keep the tables apart. We had 2 different tables and a booth. So basically we waited 45 minutes unnecessarily. My photos show open booths through the entire restaurant. If we were not going to be able to push tables together, we should have been sat at booths from the beginning. The manager on duty is to blame for this (Lavenjea). Horrible management skills and very poor people skills . She over quoted me from the beginning. Her plan to sit my party was not well planned at all. She never came to the table to make sure we were ok, as a manager should have done when a party is not happy. I did not enjoy this dinning experience at all. Chicken crispers were hard and dry like toothpicks. I have worked in the restaurant business for several years in the past for Darden restaurants. As busy as that chain is, we have never quoted ANYONE over 60 minutes. This was extremely wrong of her. Very careless and her attitude was extremely distasteful.

my food was not tasty. The waiter Logan also messed up most of our orders, and then forgot a whole side of tenders with an order of triple dippers. The carne asada was very salty and the rice was overcooked. I reached out the manager very respectfully to let her know and she immediately told me she would not be discounting the food, when i never asked for a discount. She did not even offer an exchange. She literally only offered me a Togo box and that was it. It was so very unprofessional. Her name was crystal she was very rude, and i honestly felt racially profiled as stereotyped. They even held my card behind the counter and when i asked for the manager again she NEVER came back. Then the bartender Logan never came back, while he was already inattentive he began to ignore our tables while we were trying to get our tickets situation handled. It seems as if they were baiting us to walk out, but that’s not who i Am. I’m a server and i would never walk on a tab, but i just expected them to have some type of customer service… there literally was none except Another younger manager. I didn’t get her name but she was black and with braids, she came and she tried to resolve the problem. Give her a raise! but crystal was HORRIBLE & racist. She never came back to check in with us, nor did she return my card, nor did Logan. I will be returning due to the other manager but i will never sit with Logan. I hope you guys give the manager crystal a sensitivity and deescalation class. I linked a pictures of my food below.

I would give this restaurant zero stars..but I can’t. So they get a one. I love Chili’s but this was the dirtiest Chili’s and most disgusting experience I ever had. Me and my husband wanted to go out for a special evening for our one month wedding anniversary. Chili’s is our go to for a quick bite. We we’re NEVER greeted properly..we basically had A staring contest with this host or whoever he was. Like we we’re supposed seat ourselves or greet ourselves. What kinda service is that? There were plates of food on every table in the restaurant and he seats us where there is a sight line of dirty plates..left overs and cups. We put in our entire order with the server because we always know what we want exactly. One of the servers was yelling at the customer behind us because she said her order was incorrect..he said ‘that’s not my problem all I do is bring the food’ That is just plain UNPROFESSIONAL. I’ve worked in a restaurant before and they could of reassured the customer..take the food back and grab a manager. ANYONE with common sense would know that! We never received our drinks or appetizers. We we’re there for over 20 minutes. The pictures do NO JUSTICE to how dirty this place was. The servers had Durags on and honestly it just wasn’t presentable. We just walked out and went to In and Out Burger next door. It’s sad how EVERY Chili’s I go to is so understaffed but this one specifically is DISGUSTING..DO NOT GO!! I will never go to this dirty and disgusting Chili’s ever again!!!

Came 1/7/23. Ordered the southwest egg rolls with extra sauce. Never got my extra sauce...that's fine..no big deal. Ordered big mouth bites for my daughter and I got the chicken and shrimp fajitas. The big mouth bites were literally raw on the inside with 3/4 of them with blood. Didn't see this till my daughter bit into them. Reordered and of course it took forever. My chicken on the fajitas was rubbery and damn near raw. Yes the plate came out sizzling but the meat had seemed like it was just warmed up. It had not even 1 grill mark. I took a picture of the 1st chicken strips and the 2nd. The first is just soaked in onion juice. Manager got the cook to remake the big mouth bites and 2/4 still came out with blood on them. My roasted street corn was old...I like it a little dry but it was dry and chewy Maybe the cook ot in training. My waiter was good and the guy who picked the food off the table with dread was good. That's it. I ended up just canceling the big mouth bites. This is my 2nd time here and both times were bad.....2 years apart.

The last time I ate at this Chilli’s maybe 3-4 months ago, my food was fresh and hot. I had no complaints. Today I order takeout and the food was prepared very poorly. 2 of my Pattie’s on the big mouth bites were charred on the bottom. It’s as if they left the meat on top of melted cheese on the grill and the cheese burned to the bottom of my meat. They didn’t cut the bread that the big mouth bites come on. On another order, they put my boneless wings in the container with the sauce running all over the container, sogging the bread of my burger. It is very disappointing to receive a meal and the food is sloppily and carelessly prepared. Please get employees that actually care.

I’m not sure why I expected a better experience. Long story short this is not my first time coming here with my family we mainly come because it’s close and convenient and our son likes Chili’s. Well DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. Find any other location and give that a try. At this location you are guaranteed to receive low quality service, reheated food, and sticky tables. I added a few photos below for reference of our reheated appetizer that was stale and “crispy”. I also added a photo of our sons COLD grilled cheese. Overall the food was NOT good, and the service was NOT good 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
