Modern cozy Pekking duck restaurant with excellent food & service. We got the Queue up ticket for Table for 2 from online at around 5:30pm, there's already 72 tables ahead of us. Fortunately, the tablecloths turnaround quite fast though. Since we stayed at the Rosewood, just the next building, we could wait in our room till the number got closer. Lucky us that the hostess asked if any 2 couples would like to share a table, we took the opportunity to have dinner earlier, my total waiting time was 1 hour. Service was attentive, the waiters were very friendly and efficient. I don't know if we agreed to share the table, we got a few extra small dishes as service, which was a nice surprise. The food was yummy, especially the duck pancakes that wrapped the Pekking duck, very chewy and thin. 👍🏻
Additions, when we left the restaurant it rain outside, the restaurant prepared umbrellas for the guests, which was a plus 👍🏻

Read moreFabulous Peking Duck and other dishes! The wait of 1.5 hours was totally worth it! You can be sure that the place is good, judging by the number of both locals and foreign diners. There is a small open kitchen where you can see how the Peking duck is being roasted. The waiter will show you the roasted duck in whole, before taking it aside to slice and present the pieces of meat and crispy skin on another plate. The Peking Duck is a must-try with tender meat and crispy skin that is not too oily. The menu of the restaurant is presented in a thick hardcover book. So take time to look through and take your pick! There might well be over 100 items that they serve. If in doubt, ask the friendly waiter and waitress for recommendations. I personally find that customer service is excellent and attentive here, which is indeed rare in China overall. Would certainly recommend this place for casual...
Read moreMichelin star Peking Duck. We went early at about 1130am and got a table immediately. When we left around 130pm, the restaurant was full with a queue extending outside.
The duck was delish, along with excellent, attentive service. The condiments are individually plated and what's different / interesting is that it includes 3 items we seldom see in Singapore - garlic paste, pickled veg and pickled carrot. The staff demonstrated how to wrap it and told us that the cucumber and hawthorn strips are meant to be eaten on its own, to help balance the grease 解腻 and not wrapped inside. Of course if you wish, that's possible too.
We also had a few other dishes - 松鼠鱼, their fresh homemade tofu dipped in their special sauce, and a mini pie dish stuffed with minced meat. Followed by a mini dessert platter. Overall a yummy meal with top notch service and...
