They had me at the 葫芦鸡, something I've wanted to try in Xi'An but didn't cause it was a whole chicken and I was traveling alone. It turned out to be disappointing though. Chicken was tender but the batter was too thick and it wasn't too outstanding afterall, pretty much a fried chicken.

The Tomato Egg Soup Orecchiette was enjoyable, I imagine this to be really comforting on a cold rainy day. The Prawn Balls shaped like lychees on a tree were such a pretty sight and yummy too. The 烩菜 was a claypot of mix veg and meatball, again another dish meant for more people to share but I enjoyed it. The 小酥肉 was nothing extraordinary but I can...
