wagas — Restaurant in Beijing

Visited Wagas today on my first visit to Beijing on 21/5/2024 recommended by a friend and that too at swanky Raffles City Ordered a salmon sandwich The most disgraceful meal I’ve eaten anywhere in my life The salad with the sandwich was a plateful of grass… no dressing nothing other than kale My grandson could’ve done a better job The salmon in the sandwich was one tiny piece Just because we can’t speak Chinese didn’t mean we should be scammed For 68rmb it was a rip off I think I’m eligible for a replacement meal I spoke to the guy at the counter after I finished with the sandwich to tell him that salad was a disgrace to culinary art.. he comes running with a small tub of dressing😡 Essential that one English speaking person is available at the restaurant to help customers such as us Behind a face mask it becomes convenient to pretend you can’t say anything Below are the pictures of the meal I was served Would anyone say that plate of grass is a salad?😡
