Lidoutang Restaurant — Restaurant in Chengdu

Good find of this local sichuan food restaurant. I can tell that the locals frequent this shop. We ordered some of the dishes that were recommended and majority was good. Only the mahpoh taufu was not up to mark but the rest made up for this. Particularly good was the beef slices stew. There were quite a bit of beef slices (which were tender) and had cauliflowers, mushrooms, some chewy translucent flat noodles, some jelly cubes to accompany. The hakka preserved veggie pork was also good and different from the type that we are used to. This has mala peppers included.

Good place to visit and price is...

A hidden local gem hiding in middle of restaurants, good services and their food is affordable with their recommended dishes such as vermicelli with shrimp to their fish with green mustard leaves you fulfilled.

The staff is very helpful and give you menu with marker pen to circle on the menu.

P.s. steamed bun is also available if you want that...
