Ashoka Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Guangzhou City

I visited this restaurant on 16 October 2018 looking at good comments given here by reviewers believing that it’s a good restaurant. My assumptions was completely wrong! Very terrible customer service. There’s no body to welcome you. People are waiting for getting a seat. No body cares. After managing to get a seat and order food, we have to wait so long to food to be saved. The place is very noisy and people are shouting like in market. Quality and taste of food is not good. I went there at about 6 in the evening for dinner. There was no crowd, only a couple of people in the restaurant, so it was good. The food was served quickly, but to me it seemed that some dishes like vegetable manchurian were just reheated and served, they were not fresh, whereas the Dal was definitely fresh. So in that sense I had a mixed experience. The staff was very polite, service was quick. As others have said, the price is definitely on the higher side. I did not like the ambience at all, it seemed quite depressing and dark in the restaurant, they need better lighting. The restaurant here is literally trying to loot the indian in the name of indian food. The service quality is very bad . Food serving time worst then ever. Even the owner behaves rude if you ask him for how much long time food is going to take to serve. Worst means worst. Only interested in making money and looting indians in name of indian food. Even they charge you for drinking water, "I mean seriously 🙄. If I got option of giving ratings in minus(-) then i would have given in (-10) very very bad
