Indonesian Sate 印尼沙爹 is a typical national cuisine from the country. Good chefs are so capable to deliver additional rich favors over the known basic tastes. This is owing to the great selection of spices and herbs available over thousands of indonesian isles. Other cultural dishes may never compete with this.

To come to this street-food-like shop, it means you are coming for the divinities dwell in the Sate and Curry sauces. So focus on the sauces! English order is perfectly fine. You can order and then come back to pick after 15 mins with the receipt.

Fried potatoes patties (Perkedel) 印尼炸薯餅 is the one I come for. This is a rare staple that is tasty and filling at the same time. The Pala(nutmeg), Bawang Goreng(dry shallots), and a little minced beef enriches it right. The Sate Chicken Thigh 辣雞肶 also delivers the full exotic favors to us. Been here quite a few times so more pictures to follow. There are two Indonesian joints on this street and this joint specialises in Grilled satay skewers. As it has a prominent position being the first on that road, it becomes very busy. There were lots of customers there, however it feels like being in a Hong Kong market trying to order because there is no orderly queue and if your not aggressive enough the people behind you will order regardless of you being in front of them. I really wanted to try the satay skewers but I wasnt sure if I could get a seat and they can get messy if you do not have any tissues.
