I really don't understand why such poor restaurant can be listed as michelin guide. The so-called signature scallion chicken is just like the dish "drunken chicken" in hot. The dish "braised meatball with soy sauce" is not traditional enough with poor seasoning. Other dishes I would rather not comment as they are absolutely far lower then standard. The most important thing I wanna point out is the poor service. I reserve the table at 7:00pm and arrived at 6:55pm, the staff asked me to wait. However, I waited until 7:30pm and the staff still asked me to wait. I entered the restaurant at 7:45pm and waited for nearly 10 minutes to order the meal as the staff seemed to be very busy. I ordered four dishes and only three dishes were served. After finishing the three dishes, I asked the staff whether she missed our order. The staff then told me that dish was not available that day. What?! Why you don't mention to me when I ordered? Very poor experience! Absolutely not recommend...

We ordered most of the recommended dishes -braised pork with eggs (good) -duck breast fried rice (decent) -chicken (good) -xiaolongbao (decent) -chilli oil wanton?紅油抄手 (highly recommend!!) -some fried donut mango custard (recommend!!)
It was 1000+ for 5 pax
Some downsides are: 1. not enough attention to us from the waiters as they seem quite short of hands (probably because it was a public holiday?) very confusing menu to read some seats with stools are quite small and not that comfortable
💯Would definitely...
Read moreIf you want perfectly executed Chinese food then look no further than Yi Jia, they have a very solid menu that encompasses a wide range of Chinese dishes and every one I tried was really good. It’s authentic, it’s high quality and it has a wide enough menu to make me return! Their dishes are very light on spicy and you can easily order some of the “spicy” options and get a really flavoursome dish and not be too overpowered by spice. I’d recommend the Won Tons in garlic and chilli - the sauce they use is sweeter than the usual Sichuan Sauce some...
