Had lunch there on my parent's birthday. I had very high expectation of it after seeing all the photos of the views into the large aquarium.. We recommend booking your table as it could be quite busy, especially for table closer to the tank or room.
My experience with the restaurant was not good, very very disappointed. I didn't mind that they didn't know which soup for which customer. But I could not accept that the waiter carried 4 pieces of rib eyes and not knowing which one was the rare, medium & well done. I also ordered a glass of red and it never came. When I cut open my supposingly rare steak, it turned out to be more than medium. Then again.. Where is my red? They forgot or it was never put through order. I was never so disappointed that I had to talk to their manager to cancel my set lunch. And we also had a pasta dish got delayed. We understood that they were flat out that day. I didn't mind waiting, but getting those steaks cooked and delievered to the right customer was very important to me and I was utterly disappointed. The food generally were not impressive if you considered the price they were charging. At the end of the day, the manager offered a refund on the pasta dish and extra chesscake for dessert. He was also very apologetic throughout. I appreciated his effort to remedy the situation but I will not consider going...
Read moreI booked a reservation at the restaurant to celebrate a birthday, and the experience was truly remarkable. The highlight was the magnificent view of the giant aquarium tank, with manta rays, sharks, and schools of fish swimming by. It created an immersive and mesmerizing atmosphere that perfectly complemented the dining experience.
The food itself was delicate and tasted wonderful, totally exceeding my expectations for a theme park restaurant. While the cost might seem high at first, it was definitely worth it given the exceptional quality of the meal and the unique setting.
As an annual pass holder, I was able to take advantage of the 25% off birthday offer, which made the entire dinner experience extremely attractive in terms of value. I would highly recommend this restaurant, especially for dinners when the park is closed, as the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, allowing you to fully enjoy the breathtaking aquarium view while socializing with family and friends.
Overall, this was a truly memorable birthday celebration, with the combination of the magnificent aquarium, delectable cuisine, and excellent service creating an unforgettable dining experience.

Read moreWe went to ocean Park when we visited Hong Kong and kiddo reallllllyyyy wanted to go to the Neptune restaurant because it has a giant aquarium. I actually really wanted to go to try their Pandas On Board Panda Themed Set Lunch Menu! 🐼🐼
Sadly kiddo and I are both disappointed - the aquarium was smaller than we thought and we are so far away from the fish (even when we got the “front row” tables)
I was disappointed because the waitstaff said they are too busy today and actively discourage people from ordering the panda themed menu! So we decided to get one to share and kiddos had something else, cos they said the panda themed menu is going to take half an hour and the kids were hangry.
We waited 45 mins for the Panda menu and some of the dishes like the spring roll came broken 😞. The food tasted ok and I guess I can’t expected too much from a theme park but I don’t know, it wasn’t enjoyable at all.
Oh well, we will learn next time! Ocean Park overall was great though and I would highly recommend it! Whilst we only got to look at a Live Broadcast of the twin baby pandas back in December, they are ready to be viewed in real life as early as next week! I wish I was still...
