Been to HK so many times but this is my first time in Lei Yue Mun. Was on a business trip in Central and found that it was a short few stops by MTR(with one line change).
A short 10 min from the Yau Tong MTR and you are transported into a whole new world (at least after 5 days in downtown Central) surrounded by a cluster of seafood restaurants. Walked into this one and no regrets! You can order the live seafood fresh from the stall next to the restaurant and request for it to be cooked anyway you like. It was super sweet and juicy. What’s special about Hon Kee is that they serve roast goose ( with abalones stuffed in the cavity that absorbs the goose flavor). If you have not gotten enough of roast goose, you can get a final fix here. I hear from the staff that it is the only restaurant in that area that serves goose.
Will be back on my next trip especially when it is really not far...

At Hon Kee, other than the freshly cooked live seafood (which you can order from nearby shops), you may also order their roast goose. There are some nice views of the harbour and sea from some of the private rooms.
Don't forget their signature coconut pudding dessert which you can't...
