1988 Thai — Restaurant in Hong Kong

Quite a surprise as it's sort of hidden inside an industrial building. Found it from the Google maps with a 4.2 rating. It delivered what it is rated for - food was nice, service was good, atmosphere was warm with neat decoration. Noticed that high chair is available so it's okay to bring your kids.

P.S. we went in through the lobby which was closing at 7pm. After 7, you'll have to walk the other way through...

Very good price for the quality food. Better to come as a big group to order different dishes.

All the desserts were nice so were the smoothies (particularly the coconut and pistachio mix).

Must order are the tom yum soup, pork neck, papaya salad, red beef curry, grilled fish

Can avoid the crab fried rice and sweet and sour fish....

因為係個頭返工，知道個邊有好多樓上餐廳， 所以就膽粗粗，求奇揀間黎試。 最後見到有泰國菜食就揀左咦間。

感覺其實幾有樓上Cafe既感覺，無論格局定氣氛都有個種feel。 幾岩放左工想休息下靜下。

感覺Menu上唔會勁多野勁花巧，選擇困難症既我地都表示好爽！

唔知咩原因漏左我地兩次單，搞到我地餓住咁等左十個字，餓到暈咁濟sick 不過其實野食黎講質素唔差嫁！

因為撈勻女神話想食多條菜，所以我地分別叫左一個生菜肉碎包、炒泰國椰菜苖，仲另外叫多左半雞海南雞。 生菜肉碎包 $ 88 先講生菜肉碎包啦！調味上就偏向淡口，夠合格既。 只係因為自己唔食芫茜而佢有落到，好sensitive咁食到d臭茜味，所以覺得其他調味比佢搶左d。

生菜肉碎包 $ 88 口感方面呢， 咁呀肉碎通常都好難炒到柴同韌，所以口感放多左focus係濕度方面。 因為試過d生菜包好多時都會係咦個位到出事！ 一係就勁多汁濕滴滴，流到一手都係；但就極淡口sad 一係就勁乾搵滴水望下都冇，好似乾哽咁而且極咸upset 好彩咦既火候控制得幾好，唔會炒到過晒龍乾爭爭得黎又收到水。 唔差既，如果可以走西既話會encore。

海南雞(半隻) $ 98 海南雞最緊要係咩？d雞夠嫩滑？夠肥夠多油？ 答案係個雞汁夠好味！ 好耐以前食開有間相熟既泰國餐廳，唔係用common食到以咸為主既海南雞汁，而係酸辣既！ 仲要好夠酸好夠辣，可以話係我食過最好食既love 後來執左之後我再冇係香港食過一間係同佢用同一隻汁。 估唔到係咦到會比我食到隻同佢有八成似既汁！無論點雞定送飯都一流！

不過因為叫雞唔包飯，所以要另外加24蚊叫2個油飯mad 雖然雞肉都ok，滑同嫩。冇雪味，雞味都有既，不過唔算重。 油飯就不過不失，都幾香既，不過濕左少少。

炒泰國椰菜苖 $ 88 椰菜苖好簡單係用蒜蓉炒既， 聞落真係好香！我地都係因為聞到隔離好香知叫！ 不過同d街邊燒魷魚一樣，聞落好香食落就冇乜次味shocked...
