Ali Ba Ba Restaurant — Restaurant in Hong Kong

Found them on Deliveroo, ordered special set for 2 and received these food on the picture. There is no indication on Deliveroo that they are Halal, but here, other reviews are calling them halal and also on the pictures we can see that it has a Halal stamp. In any case, they gotta add themselves in Deliveroo as Halal too, to decrease the confusion.

Apart from that, when this special set first arrived I felt it is way too less for the money it took, but I feel like that’s situation for most of the Pakistani/Indian Halal places around the HK, so I wouldn’t call it too expensive. Around the market price I would say.

The taste though, all the different things in this set were pretty delicious. We finished it all and pretty full after, we being 2 adults. We chose mild spicy and it really wasn’t that spicy, but I think we kinda missed out the traditional taste with that choice. So I would recommend standard spice they add.

All in all, still a bit expensive for daily eatery but could be a very nice option for occasional...
