Lo Fung Restaurant is a modernized local restaurant that has a touch of traditional cha chaan teng back in the 90s (or probably earlier). You can’t miss it with its eye-catching entrance!
I really adore the interior design, which recalls so many childhood memories.
And of course, the jokes we often told when we were primary school students!
If you get it, you are a legit Hong Konger!
Make sure you spend some time adoring the hearty details here and there!
It rhymes for both Cantonese and English versions!
Menu is designed as an envelop, and the bag holding it is of course a letter box!
This Cheesy Instant Noodles I ordered was absolutely fantastic! The fried chicken was oh-so-good! Legit fried chicken with popcorn skin wrapping tender and juicy meat! Instant noodles were a bit dry, but the cheese topped it up so much! The yummy thick butter toast on top definitely ensured you have enough carbs!
I topped up for this Red Beans Ball Ball Milk Tea for HKD$16 and it’s definitely worth the money! One good thing about ball ball milk tea is that the ice balls are made with milk tea, so that when they melt, they won’t dilute the milk tea. The milk tea was legit cha chaan teng milk tea! Yum yum! Read moreA local Cha Chaan Teng locates at the neighbourhood of Kwai Fong, the old-school decor makes you feel like you’re stepping back to the 70’s Hong Kong. Iced Red Bean Milk Tea (+HK$16) Milk tea plus red bean, what a great combination! Just simply like the sweet bitter taste. There’s two frozen milk tea ice balls that kept the drink cold without diluting it. Pork Chop Bun (HK$26) The Bun was super crispy, served with pork chop and caramelised onion. Cream Soda with Milk (+HK$14) Another old school beverage that mixed with cream soda and...

The waitress sent wrong food to us and other customers multiple times so it seemed that they messed up all the orders. We checked the time printed on the correct order receipt and it was 12:46, indicating that they did not actually prepare our order for 26 minutes.
Moreover, they did not show a good attitude when delivering wrong meals and messing up the order. They were rude to the customers and placed the plates on the table loudly.
The food quality was slightly below average but the price was fine.
Pro: The decoration of the restaurant is interesting and full of old Hong Kong or...
