Fairly new dim-sum spot in TKO. Located on the second floor of Monterey Place with an amazing sea view and rainbow bridge view, this place could become a favorite.. but there is still some work to be done.

The dim-sum selection is quite good but the service is honestly disappointing. Staff is inattentive and quite rude. We arrived at 2pm (time of our reservation) and we were asked to wait in the heat for more than 10min even though the place was empty and getting set up for the next round. Since we had a baby they could have easily seated us first while setting up..

The dim sum however is very yummy! Spring rolls, har gao, siu mai and xiao long bao are super delicious, the BBQ buns were not bad but I’ve had better ones. I didn’t love the truffle and mushroom dumpling (was a little too sticky) for me. Spare ribs a bit too boney but flavor was good.

Nostalgic soup dumplings are massive - and didn’t leave a mark (so I recommend to stick to the classic xiao long bao!) Turnip cake is quite good, but pricey for the quantity.

Overall a cute spot for a family lunch or a date. I hope service can improve but will...

DHYC Dimsum Restaurant in Tseung Kwan O is a perfect spot for dim sum lovers! Located by the waterfront with stunning sea views and the cross-bay bridge, it’s a pet-friendly haven where you can enjoy delicious dim sum while soaking in the sunshine and sea breeze 🌊. Their handmade dim sum, made fresh to order, is a highlight. Must-tries include the crispy shrimp toast, juicy har gow (shrimp dumplings), baked BBQ pork buns, and the unique chive and crab puff. Vegetarians will love the vegetable dumplings, and siu mai is a classic favorite. With creative twists on traditional dim sum and a relaxing vibe, it’s the ideal place to chill with your furry...

Our second time here and this time we brought our dog as its very pet friendly. We enjoyed the XO turnip cake, mushroom dumpling, pork and veg dumpling, prawn toast and bean curd prawn roll. Only disappointment was the chicken feet which was very oily.

Views were great on a sunny summer day. We were a little worried that it’d be very hot in the alfresco verandah area but the big fans they had at each table were very effective at keeping us cool.

Be sure to make reservations if you’re bringing your dog as there are limited seats in the open...
