Tulsi Indian Restaurant (Tseung Kwan O) — Restaurant in Hong Kong

This is my new favourite place of Indian cuisine, the environment, decoration and atmosphere are nice and pleasant. Staffs are friendly, nice and helpful.

My husband and I love Indian food, we have our first try for lunch, and the food was great and gave us surprise! Then we have our second try in the same week. We ordered a mixed platter, comes with samosa, chicken tikka, few curry dishes, bread and rice, we highly recommended it, there are great varieties that we can taste many flavours in a plate, the portion is great and satisfying. We ordered another lamb dish too, the lamb chop seasoned well and meat tender, tastes fantastic, it came sizzling on the hot plate and the smells delicious. For drinks, we had mango lassi and lime soda, the most remarkable is their masala tea, the aroma of the spice is rich and strong, it is one of the best masala tea I ever had. For dessert, we tried the rasmalai and kulfi, kulfi is to my liking. It is an overall enjoyable experience.

Tulsi TKO has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants, and for good reason. The food, service, and ambiance all come together to create a truly enjoyable experience every time I visit.

The food here is consistently excellent. I’ve had the pleasure of trying several dishes, I’d especially recommend the Palak and Kadhai Curries, and Jeera Rice—they are flavorful, perfectly cooked, and always hit the spot! That said, you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu; every dish I’ve tried has been fresh, well-prepared, and delicious.

The service is another highlight. Francis, in particular, has always been incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional. He goes out of his way to make sure that guests feel welcome and well taken care of. It’s clear he takes pride in what he does, and it really adds to the experience.

When we first moved to Hong Kong over 5 years ago we really struggled to find an Indian restaurant comparable to those familiar to us in the UK. We had some fantastic food at high end restaurants but these came at high end prices unsustainable for our weekly curry cravings! Tulsi restaurant has come to our rescue. The top quality food served at very reasonable prices has drawn us there every week since it opened. In this time we have explored a great deal of the menu and every dish has been served fresh and unique in flavour. Service is faultless, attentive staff are more than happy to make recommendations based on diner’s preference and adjust spiciness if desired.
