Read moreOne of the worst restaurants I have tried in the TKO area, and even in HK. Truly deserving of 1 star in every category
Food: The 肉骨茶is basically MSG onion soup. Does not taste anything like what it should be. Pork knuckle rice - the pork is not fresh and smelled, had to replace with another dish. Fried rice - too salty. Others - below average at best.
Service: Very subpar, a few staff had poor attitude. The restaurant is doing a buy 1 get 1 free lunch promo but they don’t include drinks in the lunch set. Fine no big deal, but easy enough to inform guests before they order or put a disclaimer by the promotion text. Instead, they adamantly argue that’s how they always have done it. Oh and dessert is also separately charged and not part of the buy 1 get 1.
Atmosphere: It’s a rainy, humid, and hot day and they have all the doors open with low A/C on. Hard to be comfortable in this setting.
There’s very little customers here compared to Frites and the other restaurants nearby, and...
Read moreI have been coming to Chili Lime since they open, it has always been my favorite spot on the TKO waterfront, but my experience for the last times has been to say the least disappointing, the quality of the service and the food is far from what it used to be, they had my favorite satay in town, but now the portions are small, the meat is something that you can’t eat easy as it is full of tendons and it is just mediocre, the staff is slow and always trying to charge you extra for things you didn’t order, a lot of mistakes in the orders and some of my favourites on the menu usually “sold out”, it is shame that such a nice place in the past has become one that I am not planning to get back, i understand the F&B industry is struggling, but changing the DNA of a place just cutting cost is not the right way for a long term business in town, this is a cry for attention that I hope the management will take as an opportunity...
