If there is 0 stars, I will rate it as 0. I had the worst experience at this bakeshop. This crew is very RUDE and doesn't even try to listen to your concern. THE CREW KEPT SHOUTING AT ME.
The tarts is also not so nice compared to other shops in Hong Kong but this is the only one at the Airport. I WISH THERE IS OTHER SHOP LIKE BAKEHOUSE.
We went to this bakery to get some egg tarts to take back home from Hong Kong. When we reached the shop, the tarts are not ready yet and she asked me to come back after 20 mins. So I waited and came back, then we we came back, the tarts were ready but their machine for card payment had issues. Then I get some cash so I can get some tarts.
Then when I get there with cash, she keep on asking me to go because she said they only accept cash and then continued to ignore me and served the other customers behind me.
So, I confront her and ask her why is she ignoring me when I already have the cash. THEN SHE STARTED SHOUTING AT ME. I said I was in the queue first and I WAITED FOR A LONG TIME TO GET THE TARTS.
The Manager came and settle the things with us. She said its in Hong Kong people dont speak English. Hmmm I understand that. BUT ITS AN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT crew should speak and understand at least the basic. If the crew cannot, then call somebody who can communicate with us.
When the manager was talking to me, she left the cashier and went to me then SHE SHOUTED AT ME AGAIN.
I've been to many aiports and this THE...
Read moreThis bakery used to hold a special place in my heart as one of my favorite spots for egg tarts. Recently, a friend brought me a piece from the bakery after returning from the airport. Unfortunately, the egg tart did not taste as fresh as it would have if eaten on-site. The slight loss of freshness definitely impacted the overall experience - it was not bad, but it didn't quite live up to my expectations based on past visits.
The decision to opt for a cookie dough treat instead of the puff pastry egg tart next time is already forming in my mind. Perhaps the change in pastry choice will bring back the magic I once associated with this bakery. Overall, this experience has made me reconsider my go-to order and look forward to exploring other options on the menu.
While this particular egg tart may not have been at its freshest, it has sparked a new culinary adventure for me in exploring different offerings from this bakery. I am hopeful that my next visit will reignite my love for their treats and bring back the joy I once found in...
Read moreDuring pandemic period, only this bakery open in daytime to provide last option to fill up your stomach before fly. There are not only the signature, egg tart, but also the milk tart, the specialty salty egg tart, and the impressed chicken and mushroom pie. I did not expect much on chicken and mushroom pie at the beginning. Picked it as a balance in case the egg tart too sweet. However, it tasted really better than standard. A few pieces of chicken in black pepper source. Not salty but a bit spicy. Most important was the pastry was still crisp after 7 hours (3 hours flight and 4 hours of arrangement of quarantine). The store not serve hot pastry but selling chips, snacks in few varieties. A...
