A small restaurant in an area of Tai Po full of dining establishments but certainly the first choice in this area. The food is just special there. Many appetizers with an unusual bent, including crab meat cake, their signature fish balls, classic fried chicken wings etc. I don’t know how to describe it but this restaurant is no run of the mill Chinese food. Even common dishes are made with heart and it just taste a notch better than the food of other restaurants. Lunch sets of $50 and they serve up great soup. The congee is also a highlight. Wonderful restaurant for Chinese food. Though I've been living in Tai Po for over 10 years, my first time going to the restaurant. Small restaurant and not a big selection of food from manual, the food is surprisingly good and prices are inexpensive. Not a big potion for every dishes, but i rather prefer it like this cos I can try more different dishes. People working there are nice and friendly, no regret going there, and i surely will go again. No 10% service charges, and the shop doesnt accept tips too....

Fantastic value for such Grandma style delicacies ! Almost all items on the thoughtful menu are must trys and one must definitely go for the daily fresh caught fish steamed with soy sauce or mandarin peel.... don't forget the date cake as the grand finale to relaxing weekday lunch.
