The Green Hub is the NGO that operates the Old Tai Po Police Station as a heritage site and a community-friendly venue where sustainable lifestyle is practiced and advocated. It offers wonderful guided tours of the heritage, with thorough introduction of the history of the New Territories and the significant architectural and functional features of the Old Tai Po Police Station. There is a very engaging museum with exhibits about the history of Tai Po and the New Territories on site as well. The Eat Well Cafe serves wonderful vegetarian food and it is a very good example of sustainable living. Read moreThe Green Hub is a converted historical police station and the location is magnificent. Full of culture,including a cute mini police museum, free to enter and with stunning surroundings. Whereas the restaurant is in my opinion a cold wash down. Not because they only serve vegetarian foods, bio teas and bio made snacks in the afternoon, more so because we are the only table occupied. We are greeted by a long faced staff who preferred us rather to go and thinks it is a nuisance to take the order let alone give some service.
