Pepper Lunch (Festival Walk) — Restaurant in Hong Kong

Restaurant in a food court. Large area of seating, can sit together with friends if they order from other restaurants in the food court. This restaurant offers a variety of clay pot options, with the black pepper beef being one of the most popular. Tried the jumbo rice (beef, chicken and salmon), 70-80$. Option of adding cheese, egg, broccoli and other stuff are available. Membership is free and the points can be earned for benefits such as discount on meals. Food court is busy during peak meal hours and you may find yourself trying to find a seat in the big area if you eat with friends, which could take a few...

When it comes to meat, you get what you pay for. So... I payed for this so called "steak" that was on promo for around 128 HK Dollars. And all I got was this chewy rubber mess.

I was so disappointed in myself for believing that I would get a good steak for under 200 HK Dollars.

Lesson once...

This restaurant is fair given that it is in the food court of festival walk. I ordered the most basic black pepper beef, and the hot plate was sizzling. It tasted good with their special house sauces, but I thought the portions of beef tended to be small....
