Enchanted Garden Restaurant — Restaurant in Islands District

Cast member Julie was horrendous to deal with. The photo session with Pluto on Sunday 2/3/25 started with the table just next to ours within the section we were seated at. Cast members then took the character all around and my 2yo child ended up crying in waiting for her turn. I don’t expect preferential treatment by any means, but when I went over to ask her what their expected route would be so I could better gauge the waiting time, her response to me was ‘just wait your turn’ with no eye contact, not so much as a smile (she looked like dreaded being at work) and a whole lot of attitude. No direction or response either.

Nevermind that this is a paid service, but what I expected from her here is basic human courtesy and respect. Irony also is that for this so called structure they had in mind, they ended up taking photos second time around with the table next to us, and now that I paid for all digital photos, 1/3 of my pics are missing due to what is been described as a ‘camera malfunction’ by Photo Pass customer service. It totally killed my mood to be honest, and there were several other disgruntled tables around me as time management just wasn’t the best.

I will also add on suggestion to have the characters rotate around which sections they go first vs last to. We somehow received the short end of the stick, with both Mickey and Pluto reaching at the tail end. Many disappointed guests at tables adjacent to us were frustrated as it had passed the 9am timestamp and had to rush off before photos to make it for early entry into the park.

Cast member Mari and another sweet lady were very nice towards my child when she was waiting for her turn to meet Mickey. I will qualify that I am a return customer here, so I’ve interacted with several lovely cast members. This here is a one off, but it deserves calling out. We were very disappointed.

We actually dined at several other restaurants including Dragon Wind, World of Colour, Plaza Inn. Service was impeccable. This was an off putting end to our trip. Please show respect to your customers. I definitely wasn’t harassing her, I merely went over to ask a question, and I did so nicely. Would have been nice to have that respect...

If you’re considering their breakfast buffet, I would 100% recommend giving it a go, it’s worth the price! They have a really good variety of food (all of which were delicious) and you get to take photos with Mickey Mouse and Goofy!

There used to be a lot more characters, but I only managed to meet Mickey and Goofy on the three days of my visit.

The food selection is amazing, and I enjoyed the Taiwanese, Japanese selection and pastries the most! They have realllly good freshly made egglets (2 flavours: cheese and original), egg tarts, and bolo buns! The bombolinis and apple turnovers were fantastic too, and the wintermelon wife pastry is worth a try. The variety of food is definitely solid, with a good amount of meats, carbs, protein, dessert, yoghurt, fruits, noodles, rice, pasta, and even some Indian cuisine. They have lots of kids options too, so I’d say it’s really worth it. Something worth noting though: the food options were more or less the same all 3...
