Starbucks (Hong Kong International Airport) — Restaurant in Islands District

Ahh Starbucks, you haunt me wherever I go. As my stay at the airport was a reasonably long layover, I thought I’d give one of your coffee’s the test from a Melbournite who knows what real coffee can taste like. Alas, it wasn’t up to Australian standards but was okay and I guess if people keep coming here then they must like what they have on offer. I have the latte which the very friendly staff were happy to serve in my reusable Frank Green cup. There is quite an extensive menu of drinks on hand so do check that out before ordering. The offer of a coffee and a croissant was tempting but I’d already eaten. Next time. There was also an offer of a Matcha Latte with a chicken and bacon Caesar wrap that a friend chose and she said was worth it. Toilets are nearby which is helpful. Such a bad experience, I.ordered Matcha Frapuccino and specifically ask for no sugar but it taste very very very sweet. I asked the crew but they said they already took off the sugar, because the matcha powder is already sweet, this is not my first matcha Frap in HK.. I tried TST, Monkok etc and they made it perfectly right for my taste. Unfortunately airport near arrival area are not willing to help and rude... Before I even tasted it I returned it at first because I said no whipped cream but they still put cream, how much more the sugar.. PLEASE enlighten me how to order exactly so I don't need to throw away my 45HKD purchase again.. or perhaps I'll just don't buy in Starbucks anymore and definitely not coming back from this...

You will find several Starbucks venues at HKG international airport including a convenient 24 hour branch in the unrestricted flight check-in area near Zone A.

There are a handful of tables located across from coffee shop. Coffee drinks and pastries are of the standard Starbucks variety, priced slightly higher than in the city reflecting expected airport prices.

Note: This is a convenient place to hang out if you are waiting for arriving passengers with flights not scheduled to arrive for a while. Coffee and pastries are fine by Starbucks standards and there is Free airport wifi is available for everyone. So pull up a chair at a table, check emails and relax...
