It’s your standard Chinese restaurant with the tanks of half-dead seafood. When we went, it was dinner time and the restaurant wasn’t full. Place is a little run down and not the cleanest.
Food quality is passable and service is polite enough. Some items are unnecessarily pricey though, such as the a mutton hotpot for HKD 348 which barely had any mutton and was mostly soup and vegetables. There’s one particular fish preparation where they take one of the poor tilapia from the tank, split it open, and fry it to crispy oblivion – fish itself was fresh enough but it was overdone for sure. There’s also these pork ribs covered in some kind of shrimp paste which was really expensive and came to the table in a giant plate, vegetable carvings covering the other side.

We foolishly ordered it. The lobster was spoilt rotten. Those who ate it had food poisoning the next day. The waiters can't be trusted. Likewise the chefs. They push their expired food to their customers. They have one of the better char siews but their greed for maximum profits at the cost of their customers health will not bring...
Read more今日10點零鐘去樂富食棧地下嗰層飲茶。幫襯咗10幾年係熟到我行入去大部份阿姐都知道我飲乜嘢茶唔需要講嗰隻。由於我一個人所以要搭枱(我知的)所以我亦好識做咁問一問旁邊阿笑姐有張近住收銀八人嘅大枱可唔可以」搭枱,因張枱係已經坐咗四個人喺度問佢坐嗰度得唔得?笑姐就話不如坐隔籬嗰張四人枱。咁我見嗰張四人枱冇人嘅就去。坐低唔夠10秒,有個平時做收銀嘅四眼阿姐沖埋嚟問我幾多位。我話一位佢即刻好粗魯咁嗌我坐返隔籬張大枱,佢仲話呢度有人訂咗個態度係非常之粗魯好冇禮貌咁。老實講如果佢客客氣氣咁同我講坐隔籬張大枱嘅我都唔出聲啊,但係佢好似好歧視我一位咁坐張四人枱咁(其實食棧早茶大部份客超過三成都係一位)我咪嘈返佢話係你嘅夥計叫我坐過嚟呢邊㗎,而家你又嗌我坐返個隔籬嗰度其實你哋想點?跟住佢就喺度發脾氣話呢張死人枱嗌你坐隔籬嗰度咪坐隔籬嗰度囉,我見佢咁冇禮貌咪兇返佢。可能佢覺得佢自己理虧咪好唔情願好冇禮貌咁同我講咁對唔住囉!我亦坐返隔籬因亦唔想同佢計較就終於坐返喺張大枱度咁坐低叫咗一個早市孖寶個粥好快嚟,另外一個韭菜餅等咗起碼半個鐘頭以上都未到我已經同笑姐吹過一次,但係都未到。由於趕時間我見到11鬆啲有個藍衫藍褲嘅四眼仔應該係經理嚟,(因為之前嗰個係50幾歲嘅經理呢個啱啱入職唔係好耐)咁我同佢講我話我嗌咗呢個孖寶幾耐叫佢幫我check。轉頭佢好好串咁講半個鐘,咁我咪同佢講我嗌咗半個鐘頭都未嚟我而家唔食走啦趕時間。跟住佢就好唔願意好串咁走去廚房嗰度望兩望。我就同收銀講我話埋單然後個收銀唔敢收住因為可能要經理簽紙取消,所以一路喺度等佢大約等咗一兩分鐘終於嗰個四眼仔經理攞碟嘢出嚟好晦氣咁問我有了你仲要唔要呀?我話趕時間啊你幫我打包,跟住佢好唔客氣咁拿住個白色膠袋攞個膠袋完比我。我真係感嘆呢個經理同埋四眼收銀阿姐要人轉來轉去張枱及叫的食物遲咗咁耐由頭到尾都冇一句唔好意思或者對唔住!我真係好奇怪點解而家呢啲香港嘅餐廳啲招呼水平可以去到咁樣?身為一個經理見到個客嗌咗個點心咁耐都未到你唔係應該同個客講唔好意思或者sorry然後跟進的?點解仲要用一個咁傲慢無禮嘅態度對個客?我喺呢度講呢件事唔係想比食棧嗰個50零歲嘅男老細知道呢件事而有所改變!只係想同大家分享吓點解香港嘅飲食業水平會跌到咁樣同埋點解而家啲香港人寧願北上都唔...
