This shop offers pancakes only, plus coffee, tea and limited choices of beverages. First, you must be alerted that as they stated in their menu, it takes 20 mins to prepare the pancakes, yes 20 mins even there were only 5 customers. Well, is it worth waiting? I am afraid not. The front house service need more training too. I asked what’s the brand of tea they used. The waitress simply said ‘I don’t know.’. Then I requested her to check. It took 5 mins for her to return to us and the reply was, ‘we don’t know the brand, we only know the tea bags are from overseas.’ Well well , so the tea came, it’s ‘Dilmah’ which is a good quality brand. Very interesting pancakes but texture and consistency is like souffle. It is indeed very delicious and I have to give it a 5 star rating for quality of food and presentation. The decor and beautiful for a small shop like this and I have to say is very well thought out. The shop however has a very narrow front but the length of the shop is deep. We went to layers for lunch on a weekday. Their lunch set was a very reasonable price at $108. I highly recommend the rose latte, which is floral without being overbearing.
