One of our party is very allergic to nuts, so we wanted to enjoy the Pad Thai without the cashews. A lady brough our dish and there was a large pile of cashews next to the noodles. We asked if we could have one without the nuts, and the lady huffed and proceeded to angrily brush the nuts off the plate, all while scolding us and telling the person allergic to "eat around the nuts".

Dubbed the "Little Bangkok" of Hong Kong, the Kowloon City neighbourhood is known for its small, cozy restaurants offering authentic Thai cuisine. It is the place we go whenever we feel like having Thai food, and this is our go-to, though it's always full and more often than not, you have to queue for it. They often invite local artists to perform here. If you're lucky, you get to enjoy live show while having dinner! You make your order contactless on your phone after scanning the QR code they provide, which is convenient and saves some of their staff's effort in bustle though the crowd of diners.
This night we managed to grab a table after a while of queuing (lucky to have a table before some larger groups as we only needed two seats). We ordered Thai shrimp sashimi 🦐, yellow curry w/ seafood 💛, a roti to go with it, a Tom Yum soup, some veggie and a refreshing lime soda. Food was, as always, authentic to us, and served hot and fresh and service was friendly even it was a busy night. 💛
