🇭🇰 To Kwa Wan 土瓜灣|Tsui Wah Restaurant 翠華餐廳
Having some Hong Kong 🇭🇰 Cha Chaan Tang food has always been so nostalgic for me. 😜 Not only the food + desserts are always so satisfying, 🥳 having them with iced lemon tea 🥤is always my go to especially in summer! 🥵 Tsui Wah restaurants serve a variety of Cha Chaan Tang food and have many locations across Hong Kong! 👍🏻 This time, I tried:
🐖 Steamed Rice with BBQ Pork & Scrambled Egg 🥚 A must try item if you go to any branch! 😋 Rice is topped with perfectly made eggs 🍳 and BBQ pork! Totally love the BBQ pork with the egg, 😍 loving how moist the egg is too! 🤪
🐄 Satay Beef with Rice Flat Noodles in Soup 🍜 I am totally a fan of satay beef, 😆 I actually have not yet tried it in soup noodles. Got to try it this time, 😄 totally a comfort food I need from time to time. ☺️ Heavy in Satay flavour and beef was soft. Wished there were more soup, 🍲 would be more satisfying! 😉
🍓 Squashed Strawberry & Lemon Tea 🍋 ☕ Squashed Guava & Lemon Tea 🍋 I tried their new drinks, 🤩 adding squashed fruits into traditional iced lemon tea! 😲 They have 4️⃣ flavours and got to try strawberry 🍓 and guava! It’s a refreshing drink to have in summer, 🌞 some fruit pieces with the refreshing drink! 🤤
🧀 Cheese Milk Foam X Ovaltine Hong Kong Styled West Toast 🍞 Always loved Hong Kong styled West Toast as an after meal dessert! 🥹 Even better having it with some Ovaltine powder 🍫 on it with cheese milk foam, 🥛 such an evil dessert! 😈 I would say this is a perfect dessert to share between 3️⃣!
You could find a location near you as there are many locations across Hong Kong! 🇭🇰 Come enjoy some Hong Kong comfort food! 🏃🏻♀️

Read moreToday, I ordered a breakfast set that included satay beef noodles, scrambled eggs, a bun with butter, and a coffee with condensed milk, what Hong Kongers call 啡走.
The portion of beef was generous, and the noodles had a pleasantly chewy texture. The soup was quite rich—perhaps a bit too strong for my taste, but it likely suits the Hong Kong palate. The coffee was of high quality and had the signature flavour that Hongkongers love. Considering the portion and quality, the price was fairly reasonable.
The service was acceptable. The staff responded to my requests, but I wouldn't say they were particularly friendly—which is quite typical in a busy cha chaan teng setting.
Overall, I wouldn’t mind returning, but if there’s a smaller local eatery nearby, I’d be more inclined to try...
Read moreOne of the best local restaurants that has many branches. We arrived a little after lunch time on weekend, it is still packed. We got a table in a few minutes. The restaurant is renovated with cool neon light in shapes. We need to order by scanning QR code. The food arrived slowly. The food is great. The taste is amazing. The waitresses are very enthusiastic and helpful. The utensils are in the drawer on the side of the table. The best desserts I want to recommend should be 脆華奶油猪. It goes very well with iced milk tea. The noodles is good too. The soup is amazing. Definitely 5 stars for the food, service and atmosphere. I will be...
