i was here for a business lunch, booked at 12.30. there are two teppanyaki sets for lunch to choose from - one slightly more expensive than another one, with abalone and another lobster, and different beef too. since we came in a group so we could order both and share around, to suit everyone's need.
they first came with the sashimi with a surcharge $98, em, it was okay. then salad. then the chef started the cooking in front of us. they first made the seafood, and every thing de-shelled, so we didn't need to bother with dirty fingers and cleaning. fish was juicy and the skin very crispy; the lobster was nice. then one set got the foie gras, quite nice too and we're able to share. a clam soup to clean the palate, then it's the time for beef. without paying extra it's the thin beef with green onion wrapped inside; but then of course we recommend the thick tender A5 japanese wagyu. it's made medium rare as request and was very good! especially good to go with the deep fried garlic slices! but then started running out of time we had the fried vege and fried rice, and sweet toast. the sugar only stayed at the middle of the toast, i hope we could have it more even or even sweeter. the fried rice could be more in flavour too. then to end with a dessert which was a coconut pudding.
overall we're happy with the meal, just toward the end it's a bit rush.

Read moreThe teppanyaki offered here is ok but compare to its related one in Yuen Long or other teppanyaki shop in other districts than nothing shines here. I had few experiences here with different chefs, either the food is over cooked or too oily. The fish soup here is no where near the one in Yuen Long which was real sad. The sashimi is way below standard compare to those other shops offered omakase and price is not cheap at all. The food charge here is not much difference compare to TST, Causeway Bay or Central but sorry to say food standard didn't match. The overall service is also no where near the TST, Causeway Bay or Central. The only reason I gave a 3 stars is that this place served better food than Kaika and Akita. Kaika is a...

🚩Omakase Bar
D2 Place - The Worst (Omakase?) I've Ever Had 🫠 🚩 Omakase Bar often has no customers 🚩 The ingredients are worse than what you'd find at a 壽司郎(Sushiro), and the presentation is just as bad as 元氣 (Genki).
Only three pieces of sushi were served, which is shocking. Before serving the sushi, they purposely filled you up with rice.
Only three pieces served; is it supposed to be cheaper? Nope. Are you rushing to close? We didn’t even drink alcohol.
Just gave us three pieces while rushing us to eat, saying it wasn’t fresh and we should eat ASAP. Rushing customers is terrible 😭.
The owner likes to call everyone "boss," and the waitress kept taking my bf’s number, saying there were fresh ingredients available, constantly WhatsApping him saying there’s shrimp freshly delivered, but it wasn't anything special but worse, priced $850.
My boyfriend went home and ordered fried chicken on Foodpanda, hilarious.
The bill was $4xxx 🙃. Here’s everything I ate, except for the last piece of sushi, miso soup, and fruits that aren't shown. Theres no ice...
