Premium a la carte Japanese restaurant serving amazing food with friendly five-star service.
Arrived with no reservation and was offered a seat at the chefs podium. Tea was immediately served, and the chefs specials of the day were carefully explained by my waitress. She followed up with some recommendations, which included fresh Japanese Uni (Sea Urchin) and Giant Oyster Sashimi, which I accepted. The food was so delicately balanced and so fresh.
I also ordered the assorted sashimi platter (8 styles) followed by the grilled Japanese A5 Black Wagyu Beef. The waitress also recommended I try the Grilled King Prawn with Sea Urchin sauce, which I again accepted.
While I was waiting for the rest of the meal to arrive, I was offered a bowl of Edamame as an appetiser. The sashimi platter arrived next. It was so fresh I was very impressed with the quality. Next was the grilled Japanese Black wagyu beef. It was served with mustard, and I was also offered some wasabi mayonnaise (which I kindly declined). The taste of the beef was distinctively Japanese wagyu. The beef melted in my mouth, and the marbelling was clearly second to none. I tried to savour every last bite so I could enjoy every moment of it.
Next came the grilled king prawn with uni (sea urchin) sauce. The prawn was delicious and was cooked to perfection. The smokey taste paired with the uni sauce was just amazing.
To finish off an amazing night, I had the Daifuku (sweet red bean paste). The perfect was to end a delicious meal.
A big thank you to my waitress for her wonderful recommendations and the rest of the team for providing such an amazing experience tonight.

Read moreThe food quality, flavour and serving portions are collectively excellent! Service is friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed the classical music which elevated the ambiance adding to the calm and enjoyable dining experience. This restaurant is set with windows facing the open, outdoor area so customers can enjoy looking at a few trees and people passing by yet without feeling like they're in a fishbowl. I particularly liked the natural lighting and smaller details such as the ceramic bowls and cups, small wooden chopstick rests and timber interior. It was simply a pleasant place to enjoy a delicious meal...
Read moreThe don with assorted fish was really nice, with a good variety, and each kind of fish tastes differently. It sounds funny but there are many Japanese restaurants nowadays serving fish that tastes all the same (if not tasteless) no matter what kind of fish it is. Service was very attentive. Our cups are...
