Starbucks Roastery is as impressive as you would expect from the crown jewel of Starbucks' growing empire in China. When you first enter, you are struck by the sheer magnitude of the roasting machine. The first floor houses a bakery section and gift shop, and while both floors can serve you coffee, the second floor offers tea as well.

As a coffee lover, you certainly can’t miss this Starbucks in Shanghai! It obviously won’t be a quiet place to stay as you can imagine that huge crowds is always there. But still, it worths to pay a visit. The bean roasting process, the variety of coffee and food choices, the coffee side products display and the welcoming staffs, all have added a lot of value in the store.

Someone told me it’s the largest Starbucks in the world. Not sure if that’s true, but it’s the largest I have been to. Be sure to check out this place if you are in ShangHai. Lots of coffee to try, and lot of sandwiches, bread, cakes, chocolates too. You can also find lots of merchandise here. Expect crowd in this place, but it’s easy to find a place to sit.
