Genki Sushi (Tai Po Mega Mall) — Restaurant in Tai Po District

This is the best value sushi chain store in Hong Kong without a doubt. It is backed by the Maxims group of Hong Kong and has been around since 2006. The menu is ever-changing with a wide range of assortment. There is an innovative sushi conveyor belt and made-to-order delivery conveyor belt system, I believe the first of it's kind in Hong Kong. Pricing is always fair and affordable. Staff are always courteous polite and helpful, although they can certainly be tremendously busy sometimes. The restaurant itself, no matter which branch or store you visit, they are always clean and spotless. This is very important for a sushi restaurant. Funny same concept as Genki Sushi in Uptown Plaza mall, same menu, ok service, but this outlet serves outright awful food. Ordered a bowl of beef Udon noodles, dish arrived, hot, but salty with overcooked cheap beef (chewy and like rubber). A real downer.
