Pizza Hut (Tai Po Mega Mall) — Restaurant in Tai Po District

Good for group it isn't! If you have more than four people, forget this Pizza Hut, it doesnt have the capability to to serve a group of more than four. We went to this restaurant in the summer and had to wait for nearly 2 hours before we got a table after many chase ups and the responds from the waiters were unhelpful and rude. As the children were getting a bit restless from the waiting I went and enquired about when a table would be available for us and each time I was ignored, instead they chose to answer my question to my fellow diner companion who didn't ask the question!? And the answer would be the same 'I'm sorry we haven't got a table for you but it will be soon". And soon turned into nearly 2 hours wait. If we had know it would took so long we would have gone somewhere else, but each we were given false information, until it was too late to go somewhere else. And the foods was definitely wasn't worth the wait - soggy pizzas and bland in taste. Tastless bbq chicken wings. Garlic breads was a loaf of toasted brioche!...

Terrible dine-in experience, assuming that dine-in is a paid full experience from a restaurant.

Once we were seated we were only given the specialised menu to browse until we requested for the entire a la carte menu, once ordering we requested a build it yourself pizza which was essentially half n half of the default pizza choices to find half n half pizzas are only available for take out, then when we requested for chicken strips and wedges we were told this side is only available as part of a set in the special menu only (even when we offered to pay a la carte pricing). In our disappointment we compromised our entire order, but found we could have ordered exactly what we wanted on delivery (believe me I was tempted to cancelling my restaurant order and placing a delivery online to my seat).

There are also no bathrooms in-store nor wet-wipes / towelettes for cleaning your hands post meal.

Wouldn't recommend this...

The experience was horrible from start to finish. The wait time for any table size over 4 was 1h+. The waiters were inexperienced and incompetent. One might wonder if Pizza Hut gave any training at all. The food was hot on the outside and cold on the inside. We ordered a set meal and our main courses all arrived before the appetizer. Not much is expected of a chain like Pizza Hut, but at least the bare minimum should...
