Just moved to Macau and I know definitely I will be coming here often. I don't think I will find alot of these kind of restaurants in Macau, but the avocado toast w heirloom tomato and burrata was legit. Burrata a little firmer than usual but still good. Honey macchiato was something new but I love that there are milk alternatives for people like me who are lactose intolerant. The only thing is the macchiato was more like a latte or a flat white (typically a macchiato is just a spoonful of milk foam). I'd still order it again with my oat milk. Was able to comfortably sit for a good hour by myself and relax and catch up on reading. Unfortunately at this moment, the view outside the window is just a bunch of construction happening in the neighbourhood. The retail section of the restaurant was barren. more than 70% of the shelves were empty, not sure if they usually sell breads, baked goods, beverages, produce, etc. Service of the team meets the basic standards but wasn't particularly friendly or joyful. Perhaps I got a waiter on his off day. Nonetheless, I know I will be back because there's not alot of these kind of restaurants in town, from what...
Read moreThe place is cosy as if the customers dinning in a forest. I ordered Chicken Spaghetti and Spicy Fish Avocado Bun. The grilled chicken combined with spices smells very good. A special decoration rocket reduces the sense of grease from the meat. Since it is slightly bitter, if customers can accept taste, it will be a very good dish. If it changes to salad vegetables, I believe that more people would like it.
Spicy Fish Avocado Bun is friendly to the elderly, as customers can choose from four types of bread. A bit spicy but like me, can rarely eat spicy food, also love it. The spicy fish sauce contains corns, which avoids the bun being too soogy. Avocado makes it a optimal choice when customers persuading a healthy lifestyle.
Only two cons are the price is 20% more expensive than other cafes in Taipa. As well as the waiters have very limited Chinese...
Read moreHad high hopes for this place, unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. Ordered the eggs "over easy", they arrived with the yolks cooked completely solid. Wait staff and manager refused to acknowledge that this was not how over-easy eggs should be, apparently that was "their standard" to cater to local tastes. Apparently what I should have ordered was "sunny side up", and they amended the order. When the re-appeared they at least had some soft consistency. The other thing that bugged me about this place was that on a hot day, they had the air-conditioning on full blast, yet the sliding doors were left wide open, surely not helping their electric bill or the environment. On the plus side, the coffee was OK...
