I’ve been here several times and service was always fantastic. However, I was very disappointed by the service this evening, and I can’t help but notice that tonight’s staff were also different from the ones I’m used to seeing in my previous visits.

Our steak was served without the mustard (the waitress went back for it). Food was served robotically and the staff dragged the next table over to us to give us more space for all the food we ordered (I appreciated the gesture but they did this without a word and so the service felt cold). It was getting late, so we were reminded me of last orders (totally fine). Then the bill was placed on our table, again without so much as a word. Finally, the manager(?) (he didn’t have an apron like the other wait staff, I assume he’s more senior) came with the credit card machine and took my payment without any verbal interaction with me. I said “thank you” to him but he didn’t say anything back in response. All in all, service (and words) were essentially nonexistent this evening.

What a shame, as I am a fan of Feather & Bone and the food is always good. Now I’m not sure if...

Your run of the mill steakhouse in Hong Kong. They boast dry-aged steaks from various parts of the world and I'm sure they would have tasted great if I had ordered them. I had come in to order their set dinner with included two non-dry aged steaks and a seafood platter to share. To my surprise, the seafood platter was delectable. Ingredients were fresh and you could tell there wasn't anything stale on the platter. As an opposite though, the steaks we had were a bit lackluster. While the beef was cooked to perfection, they were still quite lacking in a bit of beef flavor.
