Great experience overall! Directly adjacent to Don Don Donki, this shop is also owned and operated by Donki. The sushi is fresh and affordable. The choices aren't too varied as the name implies, they only serve sushi and do not serve sashimi. The menu is comprised mostly of nigiris, with some gunkan and a few cooked food items. Ordering can be done on the tablet at the table, or through scanning the provided QR code. Food arrives on a train rather than on the conveyor belt. Two types of soy sauces are offered here, the traditional soy sauce, and a thicker soy sauce from Kyushu that is a bit sweeter and a bit thicker. When sushi is your comfort food and you got that craving all the time… 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 at @sensensushihk by @dondondonkihk is kind of a must-do here. Our fav has to be the Thickly Sliced Salmon Sushi and the Toro Sushi, the salmon was incredibly meaty and tender while the toro was greasy to savor and with a delicate umami flavor. Other dishes like Grilled Shrimp Sushi, Scallop Sushi, and Salmon Sushi Topped with Salad Dressing were all lusciously dainty to indulge in. The 🐟 are fresh, and the sushi rice 🍣 are flavored nicely (not too sour, not too sweet. The quality is more or less the same grade as Sushi Ro and the price ranges are comparable. 3 prices are at $12, $18 and $27. You can take whatever you want withing worrying much on the budget.
