Ruby Tuesday — Restaurant in Tsuen Wan District

Ruby Tuesday is an American franchise restaurant with a few branches around the city including this branch at OP Mall above the Tsuen Wan West MTR Station. They are open from 11am to 10pm daily, have a fair sized seating area and offer take-away and delivery through foodpanda and deliveroo.

We recently ordered delivery from this Ruby Tuesday and were happy with our meal. Our food arrived in 38 minutes, was packaged well and tasted pretty good. Prices are toward the higher end of the spectrum for casual dining.

On the occasion we had the loaded nachos. Chips were crispy and topped with fair quality melted cheese, diced tomatoes and jalapenos. The order was served with sour cream, salsa and guacamole. It was a typical American style nacho order that tasted as expected.

We also ordered the 1/2 size fork-tender ribs that were very good. The pork slid off the bone, was a tad bit dry but still tender. Nicely marinated with a smoky bbq, the order tasted pretty good, worth reordering. For dessert we tried the NYC Style cheesecake that was fair from a taste and texture perspective. You can do quite a bit better with NYC style cheesecake in Hong Kong these days but this wasn't bad.

Overall, we were quite happy with our delivered meal from Ruby Tuesday. Nothing amazing but everything was pretty good, felt like a dependable and safe choice for those in the mood for traditional American food and dining in Tsuen Mun area...

The tendon in their premium aged prime sirloin steak was made softened, a perfect match with the tender medium cooked meat. But such a pity that the beefy taste was not stronger than I would expect in an aged meat. And the steak cooled quickly, as it was not sizzling hot upon serving already. What a great restaurant! The food was delicious. We had the lamb platter(smokey flavour, grilled to perfection), chicken platter(Fried chicken was to die for), chicken Quinoa salad(crunchy, leafy, right amount of citrus and vinegar), mushroom soup was creamy and paired very well with a scone.
