Café de Coral — Restaurant in Tuen Mun District

Cafe de Coral is in fact a local HK top few fast food "home cook" kind of restaurants easily found in every corners of Hong Kong. Prices are very reasonable with quite a big portion to almost any dishes one can choose on from their varieties of typical local style dishes to western,Italian and oriental as well. One of their prize winning dishes would be the steamboat. U can have a choice of beef,pork or seafood steamboat with the traditional broiled soup base or spicy if U like it HOT. A meal for 2 i would usually suggest and highly recommend that U just order one main steamboat is good enough. Than U add on to some additional side dishes. This way one will be able to try out more varieties and enjoying the meal at the same time. I highly recommend all tourists (as for the locals,Cafe de Coral is already in their libe and culture as well as almost their daily must go eatery place) that this is a must try out restaurant whenever U are in Hong Kong as U will definitely be rewarded with a good experience of the local eating and the local food culture here in Hong Kong. The menus are always changing eith different menus on different seasons thru the year. Not only that but they have also abgood varieties of choices equally for their breakfast,lunch,afternoon tea and dinner menus daily. The ambient are awesome with very clean and comfortable dining enviroment. Oh yes ..... They do have takeaways too if U decide to eat in the comfort of ur hotel rooms when the place is crowded and its usually very crowded. Ideally if one goes there with more than one person,than i would strongly suggest that first of all one of U go look for a place to sit and the other one can go place the order. Service is slow. Your food gets cold on the tray while waiting a long time for them to assemble the order. They don't check the cleanliness of the eating utensils before they throw it on the tray. The food is mediocre at best, would not recommend unless you are in a pinch and very hungry. Best to stay away and look for...
