The Alchemist Cafe — Restaurant in Tuen Mun District

It seems like a fancy place quite popular, often see people lining up. Although I didn’t come with high expectations for its pasta, still I was a bit disappointed.

The octopus balls were mediocre basically nothing special and not worth the price imo. The shrimp spaghetti was okay as I expected didn’t wow me, acceptable quality. The peach yogurt was indeed underwhelming, just a normal drink you can probably get from other places for half the price, not particularly delicious. The cheese cake was quite nice tho, maybe the only consolation in this meal.

This place is bit pricey for me and the food quality is just mediocre, not sure if I will order again. Perhaps dining in would be a better experience considering the nice environment, but then again you have to pay extra 10% service fee. So you decide whether...

Coffee tasted like it had been heated in microwave. Very fussy with a decent Americano. Toast that accompanied the English brunch was small. I requested extra and they refused to serve as not part of menu. I like egg with toast. Egg tasted good. Pork sausages did not taste good and bland colour. Fly on my table which hindered me. Chased it away. Not their fault as open setting. Service charge 10% automatically added in. If I had a choice I would not have paid the service charge. You need to order by qr code and had to insist I preferred a human. Was disappointed as was looking forward to a good meal. Feb 23: a cozy and clean restaurant. Very good experience when having lunch during non-peak hours. There is some window seats and you can take a ticket from GULU app. Price is reasonable and portion is suitable. Wide variety of choices from the menu. With vege choices.

As you can see from the menu (it just like a magazine), the pillar in the central of the restaurant placed some art works. Those are made by Special-needed students.
