APRIL COFFEE LAB — Restaurant in Yuen Long District

I had a disappointing experience at this local shop. The staff was quite rude and claimed that my order was repeated when it clearly was not. They attempted to charge me for the wrong order, which I found unacceptable. The overall attitude was cold, with no smiles or warmth from the staff.

While a staff member in a white t-shirt acknowledged the mistake after checking, he did not offer an apology. I couldn't shake the feeling that we were treated differently because we are foreigners.

Other note, the long black (hot) we ordered it was extremely hot so we asked for 1-2 ice cubes they try to charge us HKD3 more. Given the fact that the coffee was extremely hot and weather was as well. They could have offer a gesture of 1-2 cubes but no. Expected us to charge HKD3 after trying to tell me I m lying by placing the wrong order.

The picture, I posted is the person who lied and tried to show me I ordered wrong drinks and said to me clearly twice she repeated our orders when she never actually did.

On a positive note, their coffee beans are excellent, but the service was disappointing and left a a negative impression.

I could have been a regular customer but after this first experience not at all. With that price I can have much more better coffee...

This place is a gem for every coffee lovers and more. It is a hole in a wall on a off-beat corner in Yuen Long. It isn't noisily busy but their tables seem to get filled up the entire time I was there.

My mom had a match latte and I had a V60 pour over. I sat right next to the kitchen so I tried to observe them working. When the guy made my mom's match, I could tell he was very attentive to the milky art. And it showed. It was beautiful. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture. Sorry! Then my pour overnight came. I could smell something resembling peaches and the jasmine from the coffee. The taste of the brew was comforting. A peaceful feeling fell over me. (This might sound strange but it is how I feel when I have exceptional pour over coffee.) We had a black sesame tofu cheesecake. It was also very good. But honestly, I was in a zone after having tasted the pour over, no other foods or drinks really matter at that point.

By the way, they roasted their own coffee beans.

What I can see and taste is that this place is run by some young people who really care about...

I went to Yuen Long all the way for the food and coffee. It serves affordable and reasonable size breakfast and very nice cheesecake. Ordered a blueberry toast, tieguanyin Basque cheesecake and a hot latte. The toast is moist and fragrant with the rye flour. The mascarpone cheese pairs well with the sweet and juicy blueberries. The crunchiness from the granola and coconut flakes is a huge add on. The cheesecake is surprisingly awesome. It is smooth and creamy, with a well-balanced cream cheese and a strong tea flavour. I love it so much. Latte with a nutty house blend is also very nice, but I prefer a stronger coffee taste taste. I would like to revisit for the other breakfast, cakes and coffee because they are...
