We had lunch at Lei Bistro with mixed feelings. When we entered the restaurant and our host asked for an specific empty table to be seated, where no reservation sign displayed, we were kind forced to sit at another table only to find out that another party of 3 persons, same pax as us, were seated at our requested table 5 minutes after we arrived. At this time the place was far from full. Overall service was not that good and definitely not courteous. We have to take it as this is so common in Hong Kong that one starts to get used to it and accept, that staff are in-charge and guests are merely be quiet, eat and pay. We ordered turnip cake in XO sauce, be soft, undercooked and with a little XO coating, a chicken and dumpling pot with some veggies, the chicken is dry and pre-prepared the day before, a beef noodle in a 3.5 x 3.5 centimetres oven dish at a cost of HKD 58+10% service charge is absurd to say the least, steamed buns with Char Siu filling, the bun wasn’t steamed long enough, very soaky and the filling had a bit of a sour after taste. Tea refill took some real arm signaling to get staff attention. Overall verdict we will not return neither recommend to others. There are better options around.

We came to Lei Bistro for lunch with my parents. We ordered 9 dishes and there were 4 of us. The dim sums were actually quite tasty, especially with the turnip cakes & the mango pomelo sago. However, the service from the receptionist was awful from the minute we walked into the restaurant. When my mum asked whether we could sit on a slightly bigger table (the size is still a table for 4), she immediately told my mum off & was bloody rude towards us throughout our lunch. One of the staffs also kept taking our plates away before we finished the food. The atmosphere at the whole lunch was so intense. Crap service, highly not recommended!

利小館 offers a unique dining experience perfect for a quick dinner. Their menu features small portions at budget-friendly prices, making it a great option for those who enjoy sampling a variety of dishes without feeling overly full. The service is efficient. Despite the smaller portions, the quality of the food is not compromised, ensuring a satisfying meal. In conclusion, 利小館 is perfect for those seeking a quick, economical, and enjoyable dining experience.
